Benefits Checkup – Free service of the National Council on Aging to connect older adults and people with disabilities to benefits. This tool helps make it easy to see if you may be eligible—and then help you find out where to apply online or how to get help from a benefits counselor

Eldercare Locator – A public service of the U.S. Administration on Aging that connects you to services for older adults and their families – you can also call or text 800-677-1116 Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. ET; there are also options to send an email or engage in an online chat

Family Care Navigator – A tool provided by the Health Resources and Services Administration that helps caregivers find state-specific resources on legal issues, government, health, and disability benefits, living arrangements, and services and education for caregivers

Health in Aging – Expert health information for older adults and caregivers, including how to locate a geriatrics health care provider

Meals on Wheels Association of America – Provides home-delivered meals to people in need, with availability in almost every community

National Adult Protective Services Organization – For help and support if you, or someone you know, are experiencing physical abuse, verbal abuse, sexual abuse, financial exploitation, or neglect

National Aging and Disability Transportation Center – Promotes the availability and accessibility of transportation options for older adults, people with disabilities, and caregivers​
National Institute on Aging – Online and written information about healthy aging and topics such as brain health, Alzheimer’s, healthy eating, and activity, as well as information about aging research programs and activities

Respite Locator – National Respite Care and Resource Network helps you find respite services in your area and has helpful publications about how to choose a respite provider, how to pay for respite care, and more
